Product Overview

ColorCore^® is a dramatic and exciting surfacing material, that features the high performance characteristics of Formica^® decorative laminates with the added dimension of solid through colour. This homogeneous colour obviates the dark line sometimes associated with laminate edges and permits decorative effects to be created by engraving and sandblasting. ColorCore is ideal for applications such as counter tops, point-of-sale units, doors and work surfaces.

A versatile material, with solid colour throughout, ColorCore is ideal for creating inlay effects and sharp edging detail. In addition to the classic Matte texture, ColorCore is also available in MicroDot™ and Gloss finishes. Playful and modern, MicroDot is a subtle grid of concave dots in a low sheen satin finish, offering a three-dimensional aspect for optical effect. Interpreted in eye-catching solid colours, this texture transforms the traditional flat surface of plain colours.

ColorCore is available in selected decors from Formica Colors range. Due to the special characteristics of ColorCore, exact matches between ColorCore and Formica Colors may not always be possible. We recommend the comparison of actual samples prior to specification or fabrication.
