Unique new patterns available from the vast Formica® Collection

Through extensive trend analysis and research, four exciting new patterns, Mode, Geo, Dogbone and Strand, have been introduced to the Formica® Patterns range. Innovation and differentiation have been guiding forces behind the new patterns and offer a variety of scale, tonal shading, tactile aesthetics and colour coordination with the Formica® Colors range.
A contemporary option, Geo, provides a fashionable surface pattern suitable for a range of environments such as retail, education and hospitality. Inspired by the meandering and crossing lines of nature and architecture it provides a striking organic weave. Geo offers six colour options all of which coordinate perfectly with the Formica Colors range.
A new generation of optical solids is found in Dogbone, reminiscent of bones and sculptural meshwork used for architectural prototyping. Playful and geometric, Dogbone, is available in a positive and negative colour combination which allows for beautiful mix and match patterning effects.
Another new feature of the Patterns range, Strand brings an intriguing cross-over option that perfectly meets the needs of modern interiors; offering the usability of familiar wood tones, Strand is a distinctly abstracted pattern in a series of four colour options. Strand answers the trend to rethink wood by evoking the feeling of wood without mimicking.
For the ultimate in Premium Patterns inspired by digital pixilation, Mode is a unique concept to Formica Group. Available across three scales, Mini, Midi, Maxi and with flexible colour combinations it provides endless design options. Mode offers a choice of looks as either positive or negative versions, for example white dot on a grey background or a grey dot on a white background. Modern, diverse and multifaceted Mode, is available in any of the wide range of colours available from the Natural Colour System (NCS) allowing personalisation to suit any design need.
