A Successful Show for the Formica Group
October 2010
For the first time in the UK the Formica Group showcased its new Collection of High Pressure Laminate (HPL) at 100% Design, 23-27th September 2010. Demonstrating how it continues to innovate and lead the way with vibrant colourways, premium textures and designs, it attracted architects, designers and specifiers from around the world.
This new Collection presents a comprehensive palette of HPL specially designed in response to European trends. New premium texture Rigato™ could be seen alongside striking introductions to the on-trend Colors range. The Collection inspired visitors with new patterns; Mode, Geo, Dogbone and Strand together with new and exclusive wood designs. AR Plus®, Sculpted™, DecoMetal® and the versatile Formica® Unilin MFC Collection were also on show.
Rebecca Jones, Marketing Manager of UK, Ireland and Central Europe comments, "The new Formica® Collection has been developed to present an exciting, contemporary palette to designers and the response we had from them at the show was encouraging. We have exhibited at the show for many years and saw it as an ideal platform to present our fantastic new products to our core market place."
A stylish table from designer James Burleigh was also a feature on the stand. The eb18 table features a creative design from Surface® View replicated on Formica® Compact laminate, demonstrating that virtually any design can be captured in laminate using the versatile Formica® Bespoke service.
Shaped by extensive global trend research and analysis, the Formica Collection has been created to meet both today's and tomorrow's market needs. Ideal for modern and classic interiors, it offers the designer a complete choice of practical, innovative, on-trend decorative laminates.
